Ensure that the receipt printer is connected to the iPad.
Once the connection to the receipt printer is established, make sure that the cash drawer cable is connected to the back of the receipt printer.
To test the cash drawer:
Navigate to the Store menu
Select "Cash Drawer"
Tap on the "Open Drawer" button to open the cash drawer.
