🧾 Payment Setup (PAX A35)
To set up the PAX A35 terminal:
Power on the device.
Swipe down from the top of the device's touch screen.
Tap and hold the Wi-Fi icon on the left.
Select the network (the one that the mesh router is broadcasting).
Enter the network password and connect.
Tap on the TSYS Sierra (or BroadPOS, depending on processor) app icon.
The app will show a blank blue screen. Rapidly tap on the top left of the screen to display the IP address.
Make a note of this IP address (e.g., 192.168.32.185).
On the BotX app on the iPad, navigate to "Settings" by swiping right to left to access Store Office.
Select "Card Swiper Types".
Select "Pax" and input the PAX IP address, including the decimals, tap "OK" to save.
Your payment terminal is now connected to the iPad.
