💁đŸģ Tip Adjustment

Tips can be adjusted in several ways after a transaction has been completed. Follow these steps:

  1. Select the completed order.

  2. Tap the "Payment Info" button.

  3. This will display the payment details, and an "Edit Tip" button will appear.

  4. Tap the "Edit Tip" button to adjust the tip amount.

Cash Tips: If the payment was made in cash, you can log the cash tip using the method described above. This allows you to record the cash actual tip amount received from the customer.

Card Tips: If the payment was made using a card terminal, you can also adjust the tip amount using the method above. After adjusting the tip and confirming, the transaction on the PAX terminal will update.

Additionally, card tips can be adjusted in the "Settle Batch" → "Tip Manager" section, before Closing the Batch. This allows you to review and edit tip amounts for card-based transactions, even after the initial payment has been processed. This is a useful feature if you need to make any corrections or updates to tip amounts for card-based payments.

Self Service Kiosk Tips: Tips from self-service kiosk transactions will be automatically adjusted based on what the customer inputted during the time of sale. Since the customer directly enters the tip amount on the kiosk, there is no need for manual adjustment after the fact.

By following these steps, you can easily manage and update tip amounts for both cash and card-based transactions, even after the initial payment has been completed. However, adjusting the card tips must be done before settling the daily batch. This flexibility ensures accurate recording of the actual tips received from customers.
