There are two main ways to save on merchant processing fees:
Credit Card Fee Line Item:
You can add a credit card fee line item to orders.
The fee can be a percentage of the overall subtotal.
This fee will be reflected as a separate line item on the customer's receipt.
Please check your state and local laws on surcharging. We are not responsible for any fines and penalties if surcharging is illegal in your state.
True Cash Discount:
Increase all menu prices by 3-4%.
Provide a discount if the customer pays in cash.
When entering menu prices, enter the cash price and the adjustments will be made automatically by the BotX POS software.
